WORK SESSION MEETING
Work Session meetings are the third
Monday of each month, except as otherwise noted, and
will be held in the Administration Building, 201 Cedar
Street, Florence, New Jersey at 7:00 P.M. prevailing
time. Action will be taken at these meetings only
as necessary and closed executive sessions may be
conducted.

Via Route 295
– Take Route 295
to Florence exit 52B. Go straight off
exit onto Florence-Columbus Road. Go one
mile through light, continue one mile and
cross Route 130 at traffic light. You are on
Delaware Avenue which will turn into Front
Street. Make a left turn onto
Cedar Street. Cedar Street is on the
left approximately one mile from Route 130.
The Board of Education office is on Cedar
Street
Via Route 130
– N/S turn onto Delaware Avenue at the light
(Roebling Bank) and follow directions from
above.

Mission Statement
|
|
The Mission of the Florence Township K-12 School District is to
equip each of its students with fundamental knowledge, skills,
values and attitudes necessary to function as a contributing,
independent member of society. The district will meet the needs
of the wide range of student abilities, backgrounds, emotional
and physical differences by providing comprehensive curriculum
contents and various flexible methods of instruction
by
cultivating interdependent and productive relationships within
the larger community—from local to global, and by fostering
creativity, life-long learning, and responsible citizenship to
the students we serve.
It is the expectation of the school district that all students
receive the curriculum reflecting the 2009 NJCCCS at all grade levels. |
