The Florence Township Board of Education is sponsoring an Extended Day Program (EDP). The goal of this program is to provide a safe, enriching environment for school-age children after school hours to meet the needs of our working parents/guardians.
EDP will offer a variety of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor play, indoor games, homework help etc. in a relaxed, supervised atmosphere.
EDP is available to those students attending Florence Township Schools in grades K-8 and is held from school dismissal until 6 PM at the Roebling and Riverfront Schools. The program starts the first full week of school and continues until the last school day.
EDP is open each day scheduled on the Florence Township School Calendar and will not be open when school is closed for inclement weather or emergency closings.

Early Morning Program (EMP) Riverfront
The Florence Township Board of Education is sponsoring an Early Morning Program (EMP) The goal of this program is to provide supervision for those students who arrive at Riverfront School between 7:00 and 7:40AM.
EMP starts the 1st day of school. Children should report to the gym NO EARLIER THAN 7:00 AM.
EMP is open each day scheduled on the Florence Township School Calendar and will not be open when school is closed for inclement weather or emergency closings. If there is a Delayed Opening, EMP will start at 9:00AM.

The Florence Township Board of Education will sponsor a summer session of the Extended Day Program. This program is available to those resident students of Florence Township in grades K-5 (as of June) and will start in June.
Thank you to those who participated in the summer of 2016, please be advised that the program will return in the summer of 2017. Information and registration will be here in the spring.
