Sodexo is hosting a Future Chef Competition for Riverfront students in Grades 5-8 at 3:30 pm on April 23rd in the Riverfront Cafeteria to help educate the kids in HEALTHY EATING HABITS.
Too often we hear about obesity in kids and kids not making the right choices in terms of their eating habits. That’s why we want kids to submit recipes for their Favorite Healthy Breakfast.

WHAT TO KNOW:
Interested students in grades 5-8 should fill out a recipe card
obtained in the cafeteria (or see below).
Return recipes to cafe by April 17th
Four finalists are chosen to compete in a Cook-off.
Three Judges will decide who wins the title of” Future Chef”
Parents and guests will be invited to attend the event.
All ingredients and equipment will be provided.
The student chefs will have a kitchen staff member assigned to them. This will ensure that safe food practices are followed, and no one gets harmed.
