Welcome to Florence Township School District!💙💛⚡️. Our new staff members spent a full day of professional development with admin and mentors as they began their first day in district. they also got a surprise visit from Freddy Flash! We can't wait until they get to meet the rest of the crew on September 1st!

As the lazy, hazy days of summer slowly come to a close, we'd like to wish our FTMHS Class of 2026 the very best as they set foot on this next journey of their lives.

Some are headed off to college/trade services, starting new jobs, training for the armed services, or simply starting a new path! We have been so happy to watch them grow!

Fall sports is just around the corner! No better way to cheer on our FHS teams, then to follow the sports schedule! Check out the new online app for ALL FHS sports schedules! Download Arbiter from the app store on your phone or goto www.florence.k12.nj.us and click on Athletics. Once on the app, you simply type in our school -either Florence Township Memorial HS or Riverfront Middle School and you can see all sports schedules for the season. We are looking forward to a great fall! Go Flashes!

College Essay Prep in Action! Our incoming high school seniors are getting a head start on the college application process this summer thanks to Mrs. Dewitt, who has been helping students brainstorm, write, and refine their personal essays so they can put their best foot forward when application season arrives. We’re proud of our seniors for investing in their future and taking advantage of this great opportunity! 💙💛⚡️

Incoming Freshmen are invited to visit FTMHS on August 25th! Student leaders will offer their advice and support, and students will enjoy a fun game of kickball. Tours of the building will also take place so our students will know where to find their lockers, classes, and other key locations in the building. Please ask your children to take a picture of their schedule (via the Genesis Parent Portal) or have them bring a copy of it with them to the orientation on the 25th.

Our new 9th graders will gather in the Auditorium to form their groups. Students with last names starting from A to G will sit on the left side of the Auditorium, those with the last names starting from H to P will sit in the center section, and students with the last names from R to Z will sit on the right side. A student council officer will go over the logistics for the program, and then the students will move to their designated locations--Atrium, Auditorium, or Touring the School.

From 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., parents/guardians are welcome to meet with Mr. Cogan, Principal of Florence, in the Auditorium for a brief overview.

📣 Sports Schedule Update!

Thank you for your patience! Our athletic schedules will be posted as soon as possible.

The online scheduling platform used statewide was recently acquired by a new company, and they are currently making internal system updates. As a result, there has been a delay in publishing schedules.

We are hopeful these issues will be resolved soon and will share our schedules as soon as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and support of our Flashes athletes! We can't wait to kick off the fall season with you!
