Families can view their child’s spring 2026 NJSLA score reports in the Genesis Parent Portal.
To access your child’s report:
Log in to Genesis and select your child.
Click Documents.
Select school year 2026–27.
Click the PDF under NJSLA ELA-Math, as shown in the screenshot.
Please review the accompanying parent letter for additional information about the reports and family resources.

Our Annual Giving Drive is officially underway! This year, our Thanksgiving and Holiday Food Drives will help provide meals and holiday essentials for more than 100 Florence Township School District families.
We’re asking our Flashes students, families, staff, and community members to help by donating food items from the attached homeroom list. One item or several — every donation makes a difference!
🦃 We are especially in need of donated turkeys, monetary donations, and gift cards OR if you wish to sponsor a family for either Thanksgiving or the Holidays, please reach out!

Attendance Pays Off!
Riverfront students have started the school year off strong, with an overall attendance rate of 96%! More than 200 students achieved perfect attendance in September.
Our top-performing class was 4th grade’s Mr. McGowan/Ms. Daly class, with an impressive 99% attendance rate!

6th Grade: Ms. Hertzberg’s class
7th Grade: Mr. Willis’s class
8th Grade: Ms. Kalup’s class
We are proud of all of our students for making attendance a priority. Our top performers will have tickets entered into the “Pie Mr. Pascal” Attendance Initiative - coming soon!
A special shout-out to Eva Kyeremeh, who was randomly selected to receive a Five Below gift card as part of our Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow initiative. She was one of many students in September who made it a priority to be in school every single day.
Another Congratulations to Meilan Park, our 4th Grade Student Present Attendance Drawing winner, who was randomly picked during lunch today for showing up to school today!

Ms. Park's 8th-grade class had an inspiring lesson learning about the Electoral College. The students ran against each other for the presidency. They had to refer to a fact sheet about how many votes each state would give them. They also applied strategy to add up their votes and sabotage their opponent. There were also situation cards that would affect their campaign positively and negatively.
