Sustainable NJ

The Florence Township School district participates in Sustainable NJ. This is a free and voluntary program that the district and each school participates in to help guide our teaching and policies.  Our goal as a district is to ensure that we not only make our district "green" but help to educate future generations about the importance of sustainability.

Our efforts are to integrate sustainability into lessons and everyday culture for our students and staff. To do this a Green Team has been created for each school that meets to help guide decisions and share important ways to ensure a more sustainable school environment. To accomplish our goal we follow the plan created by Sustainable NJ. The following are the areas that our district and schools need to work through:
